This is one of the most
remote and inaccessible sections of the Great Wall, now a quiet picturesque
ruin.
This section snakes over jagged peaks and through thick
undergrowth.
Clambering along the ruins
here is a thrilling and dangerous experience but to many the incredible views
from the Eagle tower (if you can make it up there) and the privilege of having
part of this world wonder all to yourself is more than worth the risk.
