Chinese Cuisine

China is famous for the complexity and delicacy of its dishes.

The cuisine found along the Great Wall varies wildly, from fare highly influenced by the Imperial cuisine of the old Chinese Emperors, to simple and delicious peasant food, from Chinese classics to innovative modern takes on tradition in the cities.

There is something for everyone:  steamed dumplings served in bamboo baskets, soft pillowy bao, bright red hotpots or, for the more adventurous, the unique black century eggs.
