Khumbu Icefall, Nepal

Khumbu Icefall is the official name for the Mount Everest Region in Nepal.  This is one of the world’s most magnificent environments, with soaring peaks so tall they defy the imagination, deep blue lakes of glacial water and isolated monasteries clinging to the wall of the valleys.

Everywhere colored flags are strung along the ascents, meant to spread prayers and mantras along the wind, blessing all those that pass by with peace, strength and wisdom.
