Mount Arbel is a stunning limestone ridge that was formed millions of years ago by a combination of tectonic movements and erosion. The mountain’s base is surrounded by beautiful yellow wildflowers, poppies, lupines, anemones, and the rare “Arbel Iris” that grows exclusively in the region.
Although hiking to the top of the mountain can be challenging, the panoramic views of the Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights, and the Jordan Valley are breathtaking, making the effort well worth it.
