The
Church of the Beatitudes was built on a small hill in the early 20th
century. Its lovely architecture is a
fusion of Byzantine and Arab styles, boasting an octagonal shape, stained-glass
windows, and a central dome supported by eight pillars.
The
interior is adorned with intricate mosaics depicting scenes from the life of
Jesus and the Beatitudes. Outside a
magnificent garden invites visitors to wander its winding paths and admire the
breathtaking views of the Sea of Galilee.
