Challenge Completed!

This road trip distance will challenge your endurance.  Once you get past Missouri there is very little to look at virtually (on the challenge app).  Even the postcards I typically love had only small amounts of information.  After a while I didn't even look at the "street" views.  I simply set a steady pace and kept on going.  It seems like the last 500 miles of a long distance is mentally the hardest.

I only do long distance challenges with a team.  Each of the five team member's miles are combined and each team member gets a medal.

The team was organized for "Gary" by his sister.  He has driven the route twice and is obsessed with it, so she intends to gift him the medal.  Gary has health issues and his sister wanted help with the challenge in the event he deteriorated quickly.

* 2,280 miles (my contribution was 25% at 547.33 miles of walking and cycling outdoors and indoors at the gym)

* 24 postcards received

* 5 real trees planted

No book read on this trek.
