This multi-functional room is one of the most impressive in the Castle. With warm fires, big bright windows, and a bewitched ceiling, this hall is both welcoming and imposing. Here is where all manner of activities take place - from the Sorting Ceremony to clubs, feasts, and gatherings.
Challenge Completed!
Every time a licensed challenge is released, the Conqueror community has been asking, begging for Harry Potter. Finally, it was released on August 22 with four now and the last three in December. YAY! The app is so visual, and the content is motivating and fun.
This is the quickest challenge I've ever completed. At first, I was going to take it slow and savor my return to Hogwarts. What was originally going to be a month-long distance, quickly sped up to keep pace with my re-reading of the book and to collect points for Gryffindor on the school's leaderboard.
These Harry Potter challenges are licensed material, so I haven't shared all the fun and interesting parts from the app.
So many incentives and rewards:
Quizzes passed: 3
Collectible character cards: 5
Magical object cards: 5
Postcards: 6
Behind the Magic content: 6
Points earned for Gryffindor House: 880
Trees Planted: 5
Miles completed: 70
Points are earned for opening up/sharing the above app content. To gain points for physical activity, they must be a different type of activity, and you can only earn points once for each different one. I did specific indoor/outdoor walks, steps, indoor/outdoor running, indoor/outdoor cycling and rowing.
DRUM ROLL: Today is also my 1-year Conquerversary! I can't believe it has been one year and 14 medals later! Everything about these challenges speaks to me and is the only thing I've found that gets me moving out of my sedentary retirement life and actually willingly gets me to the gym 6 days a week.
I start the Chamber of Secrets tomorrow!
