The Royal Victoria Park was officially opened by Princess Victoria - later to be Queen and one of the longest reigning British monarchs - when she was just 11 years old.
It was the first park to bear her name. Consisting of various facilities, the park also includes a botanical garden, a sunken wooded area, an obelisk and overlooks the curved row of townhouses referred to as the Royal Crescent.
